Did you know that Murder, She Wrote was filmed north of San Francisco, in Mendocino?
A little shocking, yes, but not all that surprising.
But this.. may shock you.
Give me your hand.

No. Seriously. It's fine.

Ok... Cabot Cove....
Wait.
For.
It.
Wait.
For.

DOESN'T ACTUALLY EXIST.
No! It doesn't! I'm totally serious!

I KNOW!!
NO! I WILL NOT SIT DOWN!
And GET THIS:

Boothbay Harbor.
Yeah.
BOOTHBAY.
HARBOR.

Exactly. WTF?
Ok.... Ok.
I think I get it.
Cabot Cove sounds like a fluffy softened cheese sanctuary filled with stuffed animals and sweetened mint tea. You want to dive into that, and know you'll safely solve murders.
Boothbay Harbor sounds like a place your parent's told you not to go to, but you do anyway (peer pressure is real), and now you can't get the smell of fish out of your hair (because your hair is really porous, OK?!), and you'll never listen to REO Speedwagon again (but let's face it, if you had a choice, you probably wouldn't do that anyway).
You're accused of murder in Boothbay Harbor.

Ok. So. Where are we?
Mendocino, CA is where the show was filmed.
Boothbay Harbor is what it's pretending to be.
And, Cabot Cove it what we're calling it.
And Cabot Cove is where my fantasy loving head shall lay.
On that fluffy soft mint tea pillow.

And you know what?
We're going to be fine, guys,
We're going to be fine.
Because we love this show.
And there are millions of episodes for us to enjoy, obsess over and binge on.
Am I right?
